The YoungMan Foundation exists to help Young Men discover the exciting power and possibilities of being a Man. Manhood means being, powerful, peaceful, foundational, energetic, wise, kind, patient, penetrating, wealthy, and life-giving. Men have been designed to initiate and create life and then to protect and nourish that life in a close team context. Manhood is an achievement and can only be attained through a hard and dangerous process. Not all males achieve manhood, regrettably, but all could. A community of men of all ages has always been the preferred context, the village as it were where boys become men.
The Challenge
Toxic Masculinity a.k.a Infants and Boys in adult bodies have given Manhood a bad rap over the last century or two and some remedy is required. Since Second World War there has been an ever-increasing onslaught against Biblical Masculinity. It is necessary and wise to consider some of the criticism, but manhood has always been foundational and directional for women, children and society.
A Man is powerfully complimented by a Woman and the dance that has always ensued is glorious.
The Plan
We need to engage in healthy dialogue with immature and emotionally injured men as well as healthy men and women to understand history, to comprehend the good, the bad, and the weird while determining the future.
Greater inclusion of women in the workplace has had positive and well as negative impacts in the workplace as well as at home.
The Leadership
By design, men initiate and create and move first and masculine initiative and strength remain vital for the challenges we face in the 21st Century.
The speed of light, the power of gravity, and the laws of thermodynamics have not changed over time. God’s original design is still very good.
Where people have suffered and been abused, denied an opportunity, or dishonored we must be astute to understand and quick to remedy the same. In the process, we can impart the skills and unique creative power that enabled men to make the world safer and wealthier through the centuries.
Feminism
Feminism started as an inevitable and somewhat useful reaction to toxic masculinity but the pendulum has swung into unnatural, unscientific, and preposterous notions under third and fourth-wave feminism.
Masculinity and Femininity are equally under threat. “The Boy Crises” is bad for boys and for girls and Life-giving Christian masculinity needs to be rebooted.

With great power comes great responsibility and we need to disciple young men into this sacred stewardship.
The powerful yet simple methodology we learned from DR Jim Wilder in his book “The Stages in a Man’s Life” gives a clear and practical roadmap for young men and old men alike.
When babies, become Men as opposed to staying Infants or Boys they automatically become team players and life-giving to all around them without becoming victims themselves.
It is wonderful to be a Man, to be Powerful, Sexually Whole and Life-giving, Wealthy, and Godly.
