Loving Righteousness and Hating Lawlessness leads to Gladness
You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.” ” (Hebrews 1:8–9, NKJV)
I’m touching on this matter because my ministry is to young men and young men are more and more depressed, confused, and left to pursue only one of the three creation blessings that God gave.
In Gen 1:27 God gave Sex, Power, and Money as the Creation Blessing.
In the current ” Feministic Anti-Masculinity West”, young men are denied Biblical Sexuality and Biblical Dominion (power). Only money is left and young men are confused and frustrated which are the roots of depression. Of course, many young men will become depressed.
Denying the Creation Blessing (Original Design) is Lawlessness
26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
29 And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food.

God’s Law
It is clear that God made a Man and a Woman and then commanded them to multiply and fill the Earth. He made the Man first and then the Woman for the Man. The Man must Love the Woman and the Woman must Submit.
7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man. 8 For man is not from woman, but woman from man. 9 Nor was man created for the woman, but woman for the man. 10 For this reason the woman ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels. 11 Nevertheless, neither is man independent of woman, nor woman independent of man, in the Lord.
” (1 Corinthians 11:7–11, NKJV)
Al the complicated exegesis since then comes up with the same story every time: “God made a Man and a Woman and then commanded them to multiply and fill the Earth. He made the Man first and then the Woman for the Man. The Man must Love the Woman and the Woman must Submit.”
The Oil of Gladness
We see from Hebrews 1:8 that Christ has been anointed with the Oil of Gladness more that His companions because He loves righteousness and hates lawlessness. The more we love righteousness and hate lawlessness the more joy we will have.
8 But to the Son He says:
“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;
A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.
9 You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness;
Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You
With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.”
